All oral or poster abstracts must follow the guidelines outlined below:
Abstracts are not eligible for consideration if the research has been presented (either in oral or poster form) at another conference prior to the World NCD Congress 2020.
Abstracts are not eligible for consideration if the research has already been published or accepted for publication.
A lead author must be assigned for each abstract submission.
The lead author assumes responsibility for ensuring all co-authors and institutional sponsors approve the abstract’s submission, potential presentation, and publication.
The lead author is responsible for delivering the oral presentation if the abstract submission is accepted and selected for oral presentation.
The lead author should feel comfortable presenting and answering questions in English.
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
Abstract must be submitted electronically by February 24, 2020 at 23:59 GMT. The author can withdraw a proposal by contacting the Program Manager.
An individual may submit no more than 5 submissions as the primary author, facilitator, or instructor across all submission categories.
Oral presentations and posters can address any noncommunicable disease topic and must align with one or more Risk Factors and one or more Prevention and Care sections.

Level of Prevention (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary)
Chronic Disease Management (e.g. Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer, Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Kidney Diseases and other Neglected NCDs)
Policy and Community Interventions
All submissions will be peer reviewed. The peer review committee will independently review all abstracts following submissions guidelines. Author names and institutions will be blinded to reviewers. All decisions are final. The peer review committee will consider originality, innovation, solutions, impact, significance, organization and clarity.
Oral Presentations and Posters must:
Identify an important problem and/or gaps in the literature
Clearly describe the research question and aims
Choose an appropriate study design capable of meeting those aims
Clearly describe the methodological approach and methods utilized
Display compelling findings
Include discussion justifying the approach being taken in the ongoing research
Point out future directions for the relevant field(s)
